Shanna

Shanna is an incredibly dedicated and passionate individual when it comes to animals and their well being. Her background and experiences demonstrate a strong commitment to animal care, from her involvement in 4-H to her role as a dog groomer and her Goldendoodle Knight showcases her resilience and determination in providing the best care for her pets. The fact that she would describe herself as “just the driver in his life” further emphasizes her selflessness and devotion to her pets.

Shanna’s educational achievement in obtaining her AA in Business Administration also suggests that she brings a well-rounded skill set to the team, which has been valuable for managing various aspects of the adoption processes and overall business itself.

Shanna’s role as a successful single mother further highlights her resilience, dedication, and strong time-management skills. Raising a daughter on her own while juggling her responsibilities and commitments to animals speaks volumes about her ability to handle challenging situations and balance multiple priorities.

Now that her daughter has turned 18 and is starting her own life, Shanna has the opportunity to channel her energy and time even more into her passion for animal rescuing. This transition in her personal life has opened new possibilities for her to expand her involvement in animal welfare initiatives and make an even greater impact on the lives of rescued animals.

Clarissa

Clarissa is a retired US Lieutenant Colonel where she served for 23 years with an astonishingly impressive military record. Clarissa also has a bachelor’s degree in social work where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and an Army’s master’s degree in Logistics Management. Her background stretches from working in the Pentagon under the Surgeon General to overseas in Korea and Iraq.

Although Clarissa’s military background speaks for itself when asked what her greatest accomplishments in life are, she speaks to her profound relationship with God, her family, and her need to give back in service work to save animal lives. Clarissa talks about her admiration for Stella and how she has learned to be a productive and successful animal rescuer from the tricks that Stella has taught her. Clarissa’s joy is seeing the animals find their forever homes and with every rescue she aims for a return to the animals spirit as they heal.

Tammy

Tammy is a school bus driver who met Clarissa and Stella by adopting her first rescue Pitbull 2 years ago. The rescue team caught and trapped the mother and all the pups, and Tammy adopted Chloe, also her inspiration for the company. Unfortunately, the mother escaped and got pregnant again to Tammy’s surprise a year later she adopted Paola, Chloe’s little sister. We are still searching for the pup’s mom to reunite the whole family.

Tammy had an immediate bond to the animals and feels the need to give back to the world by helping the efforts of the rescue team by finding forever homes and funding. Through Tammy’s former culinary background and expertise of her formal training, she was able to create healthy, nutritious and balanced meals for animals. The proceeds of these sales recycle into money used for food, vaccines and flights and allows the rescue teams to continue the loving and exhausting undertaking of caring for 1000’s of animals. Tammy resides in Seattle, where she enjoys her life with her rescued pets, step kids and has a wonderful relationship with her dad.

Stella

Stella is the heart and soul of Chloe Cares Rescues with her exceptional effort and unending love for the animals she fosters. When Stella is not engaged with her 2 children, ages 42 and 44, or her 3 grandchildren, she is consumed with saving animal lives. Stella carries a tremendous load with over 25 rescued animals sharing her home and somehow Stella still finds the time, energy, and resources to care for and feed the dogs she cannot bring home.

One of the goals we have in our mission is to provide medical care for animals in need. Stella is such a loving and giving woman, that she has over $10,000 in credit cards from veterinarian bills for animal welfare. I think that alone speaks volumes to the kind heartiness of Stella and gives an example of how much she values life.
